TEK24 / DOMAINS & DNS

Domain & DNS Management

Tek24 helps UK businesses manage domain registrations, renewals, transfers and DNS, configure email records and recover lost domain access. Get practical help with the address your business relies on.

Your domain.
Under control.

01

Domain registration & renewals

Register a business domain and keep renewal arrangements clear. Tek24 helps with registration and renewals, with the domain, registration period and ongoing responsibilities agreed around your business.

02

Domain transfers

Move your domain between registrars with help coordinating the transfer requirements. Website hosting, email and DNS can involve different providers, so these dependencies need checking before a move.

03

DNS record management

Get help adding, updating and troubleshooting the records that connect your domain to your services. This includes A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records for websites, email and service verification.

04

Microsoft 365 & email DNS

Connect your domain to Microsoft 365 and configure email-related DNS, including MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. These records support mail routing and authentication; they do not replace wider email security.

05

Lost domain access recovery

Lost the login or no longer in touch with the person who managed your domain? Tek24 can help you work through the registrar’s recovery process. Evidence of ownership or authority may be required, and recovery depends on the provider’s checks.

06

DNS changes & troubleshooting

Get help investigating incorrect records and planning changes when services move. DNS caching means updates are not always visible everywhere immediately. Timing depends on the records, their cache settings and the providers involved.

What is Domain and DNS management?

Your domain is your business address online. DNS is the system that directs visitors and email to the right services. Domain registration, DNS hosting, website hosting and email are separate services, even when one provider supplies more than one of them.

Managing them together helps you understand who controls each part, when renewals are due and which records your website and email rely on.

Start with the right information

01

Tell us what needs changing

Share your domain name and the issue or planned move. Let us know whether your website, email or another service is affected. Please do not put passwords or transfer codes in the contact form.

02

Agree the scope

We discuss the providers involved, available access and the work you need. Registration, renewal, transfer and provider charges depend on the domain and the agreed service.

Domain & DNS questions, answered

Do I need to move my website to transfer my domain?

Not necessarily. A registrar transfer and a website move are different changes. Your existing DNS and hosting arrangements need checking so the services you want to keep continue to point to the right place.

Can you help if I have lost access to my domain?

Yes. Tek24 has helped a client regain domain access and can assist with the relevant provider’s recovery process. We cannot guarantee the outcome or bypass ownership checks.

How long does a DNS change take?

There is no single time that applies to every change. Cached records can remain in use until their time to live (TTL) expires, and nameserver changes can have different timings. Allow for this when planning website or email changes.

What do SPF, DKIM and DMARC do?

SPF identifies authorised sending sources. DKIM adds a signature that receiving mail systems can check. DMARC uses authentication and alignment checks with your domain to guide how receiving systems handle messages. They work together and need to account for all your legitimate email services.

How do I get started?

Contact Tek24 with the domain and the work you need. We will discuss your requirements and agree the scope and charges before proceeding.
